Sworn Statement

John and Lynda France completed the legal paperwork requirements in Italy.
There was no clerical error regarding anything they did in Italy.

They each filled out the Nulla Osta required at the United States Consulate office in the US Embassy in Rome.
Here is the Nulla Osta Document form that all future spouses must fill out and that Mr. France DID fill out and sign. The Nulla Osta documents they completed and signed was in English in front of the American Consular!

John France wrote AND SWORE that he planned to marry LYNDA and that:

I am presently free to marry and there is no legal impediment of any kind to my marriage under the laws of the State of which I am a resident.

He SWORE IN FRONT OF THE US CONSULAR AT THAT TIME THAT HE WAS FREE TO MARRY AND PLANNED TO MARRY LYNDA. SO IN NO WAY CAN HE NOW SAY THAT HE WAS NOT AWARE OF WHAT HE WAS DOING.

THE US CONSULAR SIGNED THE DOCUMENT STATING THAT MR. FRANCE SWORE AND SIGNED THAT WHAT HE WROTE ON THE DOCUMENT WAS TRUE.

THEREFORE MR. FRANCE KNEW VERY WELL WHAT HE WAS DOING AND THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT.

They were also accompanied by an interpreter who advised them of what they were signing for the Atto Notorio at the local Tribunal office in the city of Frascati where they again swore they were planning to marry each other.
The interpreter and the clerk of the Tribunal office are witnesses of this.

An interpreter was also with them at the Sworn Declaration at the local town hall of Atrani before the wedding.
The interpreter and the clerk of the Town hall are witnesses of this.

Mr France and Lynda gave all their personal data to fill out these forms correctly and swore that what they were signing was true and that they had no impediments to their marriage as per the articles of law that were read to them in English before they signed the town hall sworn declaration document. And the Sworn Declaration document was translated to them in English before they signed it. It was also signed by the interpreter and the administrative personnel of the town hall.

Then on the day of the wedding everything was in English and the Articles of law for the wedding were also read to them and they signed all the correct papers that day as well.

The celebrant then sent the proper paperwork to the Town Hall of Atrani where the LEGAL marriage was registered by the Town Hall. This marriage is LEGAL as per international law!!
